UNLIMITED BUDGET, what’s in your summer suitcase?

Summer is well and truly underway and once again our social media is filled with beautiful linen dresses from Posse, must have HUNZA G swimsuits and HERMES Oran sandals. But who are the big players on the scene this summer, and what are the new must haves for our much needed and perfectly curated “summer get away” wardrobes?

I can’t talk vacations without immediately thinking of JACQUEMUS. Their summer resort collection is top of the list for most fashion lovers at the moment, from the fantastically shaped bags (the circular Spiaggia bag and their ergonomically shaped Bambola bucket bag to name just two) to their bold and fun jewelry collection; I am immediately transported to a fashionably toweled sun lounger, bathed in warm shade and wondering which cocktail to order next. Even a visit to their homepage feels like a mini break.

Next on the scene is the continuously trending, beauty powerhouse that is RHODE. Their latest summer campaign nails the zeitgeist by balancing attainability with aesthetic sheen. Packed with limoncello energy, stylish accessories and the promise of perfectly glowy, sunkissed lips and skin they have delivered a moment not just a new product. I mean… who doesn’t want that retro belly chain lip tint holder!

Summer 25’s marmite choice has to be the JIMMY CHOO Jelly crystal-embellished TPU ballet flats… even the name is a bit icky. When I first saw these I did NOT get them… but they have really grown on me and now I want them in even available colour. They scream summer holidays, fun in the sun, sand in your toes nostalgia and I am all for it. They even have they jelly shoe smell which transports me straight back to my childhood and my original glittery jellies.

Prints are suddenly back and on everyone’s radar with MISSONI and PUCCI reappearing on Pinterest boards, and influencer’s feeds. Scarfs wrapped as tops is a big moment, and we are getting tutorials from all those in the know on how to style such a garment. For the more risk averse the scarf can also be worn as a bandanna or as an accessory tied onto your favourite summer beach tote. However you wear it, no one can deny the appeal of a vibrant pattern paired with neutral beacy tones, natural textures and tousled “fresh from a swim” hair.

So… With an unlimited budget, what would you be packing in your summer suitcase?
